Our Commitment

ReaderML does not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information with third parties for monetary compensation or for their own advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes.

We never have and do not intend to engage in the sale or sharing of personal data.

What This Means

We do not sell your name, email address, or any account information to data brokers or advertisers
We do not share your PDF files, notes, bookmarks, or highlights with any third party for commercial purposes
We do not build advertising profiles based on your usage of the App
We do not allow third-party advertisers to track you through the App

Data We Share and Why

We share limited data only with service providers that are essential to operating the App. These providers act on our behalf and are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes:

Google Firebase — to run authentication, cloud configuration, analytics, and crash reporting
Cloudflare R2 — to store your files in the cloud (Pro subscribers only)
Google Play / Apple App Store — solely to verify your subscription and process billing

None of these providers receive your data for the purpose of selling or advertising.

Your Choices

Even though we do not sell or share your data, you have the following options:

Use the App without signing in — you can use the App without creating an account; your name is shown as “Guest” and no account data is collected
Delete your account — contact us at support.readerml@gmail.com to request full deletion of your account and associated data
Opt out of analytics — Firebase Analytics collects anonymous, aggregated usage data. You may request opt-out by contacting us
Download your files — Pro subscribers can access and download all their stored files at any time from the Cloud Storage screen in the App

California Residents (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) to:

Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
Request deletion of your personal information
Opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
